I had imagined that when I start writing I would speak of the many years and happenings that has been... well, I am hoping to do that in the course of time but right now I would like to share with you our most recent pride and joy... having our very own home in Davao City, Philippines.

 

Growing up, owning a house was something I completely took for granted. My parents, though average earners, have always had a beautiful roof over our heads and at some stage we even had two houses, one in town and another in a distant barangay (village) away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

 

Of course, its absolutely different when one is all grown up with your own family to care for. I married a Dutch national, Kees is what most family and friends call him. He is entirely one whole blog ... so I shall not get carried with talking about how wonderful he is (note: he asked me to type this in (lol)!) Anyhow, we have a beautiful and brilliant daughter called Honey Angel.
